Regal and Cinemark announced that they will be showing “Lord Of The Rings” marathons prior to the release of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.” All three LOTR movies will last 13 hours, starting around 11am and ending around midnight.
Based on JRR Tolkien’s novel, “The Hobbit” is already projected to be a top grossing movie. Middle-earth fans are excited to hear that the preorder for tickets is beginning this week.
“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” will hit theaters on December 14th. The “Lord Of The Rings” marathon is planned in select theaters on December 8th and 9th. They plan on presenting the three films of the trilogy to get the Middle-earth fans hyped up for the release of “The Hobbit.”
Tickets for the film and the LOTR marathon go on sale Wednesday, November 7th.
They also released new promotion posters, showcasing the company of dwarves, Gandalf the Grey, and the elf Galadriel.
